My gut was right...again

So I confronted the feelings I was having about the relationship I was in..and my gut was right he wasn't that interested in me. Apparently I did everything right and was the greatest girl he's ever dated and he even loved my friends but he didn't feel a spark. Basically it boils down to the it's not you it's me statement. Rejection is the worst, but I'm glad he was finally honest with me. Of course I got the cliche I want to be friends. Which I can see us being friends it will just take some time on my end. I loathe being back in the dating field, but I will take with me everything I learned just like the other endings of relationships. He taught me everything that I do want in a realtionship and the last ex taught me everything I don't want. It just hurts so much to hear that i'm everything he's ever wanted but he just didn't feel it. I feel like a failure, even though I know I didn't do anything wrong. He was clearly upset telling me, I could tell he was crying. At least this week is super busy at work so I won't have much time to dwell on it and Sydney keeps me busy at home.

I'm sorry girly...I know it's tough dating and having to weed through the bad ones before you end up with the person you are meant to be with. Your right when you take what you have learned and so forth and move on.
You have a lot to offer...you just haven't found the person who has a lot to offer you yet; but he will be there soon!

It's just a lesson learned. This relationship may have put you in the right place inside yourself to be ready for when that "right one" comes along. Love has no timing. Yours may be around the corner but don't rush it. Have faith.
