When one thing goes wrong everything else follows. What a weekend, for starters I woke up friday morning to Sydney getting sick all over her crate..what a mess. I stayed home to keep my eye on her and get everything cleaned up, she seemed to be fine after that she did get sick a little sunday morning but nothing like before. Sunday morning started with that, then a phone call from my mom telling me they had to call an ambulance to take her boyfriend to the hospital. They didn't know what was wrong with him, then I went to a movie with R only to get back to my car and find it was DEAD. Fantastic, so $84 later I now have a new battery and as a result for some reason my passenger side window will not roll down . Today I wake up to find I have a headlight out..SERIOUSLY???!!!?? What gives? And of course I spent the money that I did have on the new battery and don't get paid until friday. It just keeps getting better. The bright side of the weekend was that M was out of town so I had some quiet on the homefront and no hostility.
The only good thing was that I had the lunch and movie with R to distract me from the situation at home, it was good to catch up with him and I must say I did enjoy the movie. When he suggested we go see a movie I did have to ask if he wanted to see He's not that into you, I couldn't resist. We went and saw Taken, I recommend it if you're into action/thriller types. My only question was Who's driving the boat, my mind thinks of the most random things in movies.
I've also been seriously slacking on the blog writing along with other things. I know there are people I need to hang out with again and unfortunately my money is gone about as soon as I get paid so I have been staying in, alot. Things at home have gotten uglier between M and I, she no longer wants anything to do with me and will not speak to me. I'm so over that. S and I are getting along just fine and she told me not to worry about it that M is just very hard to live with and does not know how to talk to people.
I have been on a few dates recently, the one guy was absolutely psycho! I told him to leave me alone and he continued to text/e-mail me to hang out. I did however have two normal dates with who we will call J. He is very polite, my age, never married, no kids but he lives about 40 - 45 mins away. Time will tell on that one I suppose. Right now I'm trying to regroup from the events of the weekend. Work has been stressing me out so bad, we need help very desperately in our department and they are not giving it to us. We are so damn busy (which in this economy = job security for me so I'm not complaining about that). It seems though that after being at work all day when I get home all I want to do is just veg and watch tv and be brain dead. I'm looking forward to the weather warming up again so hopefully I can get back into a routine of taking Sydney for a jog/walk after work to burn up some of her energy and get me back in shape as well. It's a win/win.
I'm going to try to stay positive though and think that the worst is through and everything will be ok back home, this is by far one of the hardest parts of moving away, not being able to be there for your family.
